Our Victorian Street Market filled with local food and beverage producers, talented artists, artisans and crafts people and creative street food vendors will line the streets of this historic town with entertainment provided by local school choirs and top singers, musicians and performers. As usual there will be street theatre, Santa's grotto and so much more to see, do, try and taste.
Don't forget to pop in and see the amazing display of Christmas Trees at St. Mary's Church, the stunning wreaths at St. John the Baptist Church and the beautiful cribs at Sage Cross Church over the weekend too.
Take a visit on the Saturday to the Cattle Market on Scalford Rd, for their Christmas Fayre with an array of farm animals, market stalls, Brass Bands and Round Corner Brewing.
With so much going during this FREE weekend event, there really is something for everyone.

Friday 10am - 8pm, Saturday & Sunday 10am - 4pm.

Christmas Lights Switch on
Friday night is sure to go off with a bang with the annual town Christmas Lights Switch on and Firework Display.
At 6.40pm the Christmas Tree in the market place will be blessed by the Revd Ashby and then followed by the traditional countdown with the Mayor of Melton Mowbray and the cast of this year's pantomime, Jack and the Beanstalk. With the switch on and fireworks at 6.45pm.
